One Day Left

Salaam guys,

Not really writing a post, just wanna say Hafsa is coming back tomorrow from Paki. And Summer is nearly at its end…

Updates coming soon,

Zoya

WOW!

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu,

I was quite amazed that I hadn’t updated in a long long time. I kept procrastinating until now. I guess I’ll give a recap of what has happened in the past month. I finished my summer class way back then. Alhumdulillah, I really liked that class. I’m starting to actually like biology now. I learned so much, and it makes sense to me…unlike ENGLISH! I am gonna take English this fall…uh…oh.

After that, my summer has been busy. But its been much busier these past two weeks. So I’m gonna jump over to the last two weeks. Let’s see…okay, so I went to Farzana Baji’s house again, and that was lots of fun. I had a lot of fun playing with the kids. It definitely feels nice being out of the house every once and a while.

I went to Six Flags last Wednesday with my mom’s side family. That was fun…kinda. Well, at least in the beginning it was. I think every desi kid knows what I’m talking about. There were so many little kids, and my uncles and aunts were there too. That’s all I gotta say for you guys to get what I’m sayin’. But on the bright side, I went on a few roller coasters, which was awesome. On one roller coaster, I was on the brink of losing my glasses! Anyway, I would say my overall experience at Six Flags last week was a 3.8/5.0. Atleast I got to go, right?

And then the wedding! Wedding was great, mashaAllah. I’m happy for her, as long as she’s happy for herself…! Nah, I’m just kidding. I know she’s really happy, mashaAllah. Congratulations Afshan! Doubt you’ll read this though.

Today’s July 27th. My brother would have turned 21 years old today. But on the brighter side, Sabrina has been MARRIED for a YEAR now, MashaAllah! I know when she reads this, she’ll be smilin’! ;-)

InshaAllah, I will update again soon. As for now, I think this is good enough.

Take care guys. Enjoy life. Have fun.

Until next time,

Zoya

Friday the 13th

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu,

I’m not gonna be writing about today, but about yesterday! Yesterday, I had a really fun time, Alhumdulillah. This is what happened: Yesterday, after my bros’ school finished and my class finished, we all met up at one of my mamu’s house. And what I meant by “we” is us and a whole bunch of my cousins. After freshening up and what not, we all went to the park and…and…played BASEBALL!! There were six little kids who played in the playing area and 10 big kids who played Baseball. Unfortunately, we couldn’t play baseball for long because the baseball teams had to practice. That was a big bummer for us.

But after that, we all played football. That was pretty fun too. After that short game, we all relaxed for a bit and my sister and our two other cousins came by. So we all played another football game, and that game was goooood. We all had a really really fun time. We wanna hang out again next week, except this time, we wanna do something “unique.” I wanna go laser tagging. Now that would be some awesome fun.

Anyway, after playing at the park for nearly three hours, we went to my mamu’s and chilled some more. We were actually talking about when we were younger and how we use to get in trouble from our uncles and aunts. Haha! Oh yeah, we also ate some warm yummy food my mammi made. And we had homemade lemonade too.

All in all, it was a great day, Alhumdulillah. We were all drained after yesterday. Hamza and Sahar knocked out when they sat in the car. I came home, took a nice shower, and eventually knocked out myself.

InshaAllah, I hope we get to hang out again next week. It feels great hanging out with cousins who are mostly in the same age group. And I love playing sports. They are just too much fun, not to mention healthy!

Was Salaam,

Zoya
