Assalaamu Alaikum,
It’s been a really long time since I last updated. I’m just gonna sorta summarize what’s been going on. The first thing, I have three more weeks left of school. I know! I feel like I just started. Well, actually I did. It’s only a six week course.
Last week of school for the Chicago kids. Two weeks later and I’ll be joining them. My bhabi and Hafsa left for Pakistan yesterday. TWO MONTHS! For some reason, it doesn’t seem like such a long time for me. Maybe cause I feel like time is going by so fast. They’ll be back in no time, but Hafsa’s presence will definitely be missed!
My summer plans? I haven’t really thought about it. Usually my bhabi would take us to out to Navy Pier or something, but she’s not here. So we, as a family, have to think of things to do at home. Or I could just stay out half the summer with my friends…! Haha. And nope, no license yet. But inshaAllah, one day.
Last week, I went to my friend’s house. I had a great time, Alhumdulillah. After schools over, that’s gonna be one of my firsts vacations for the summer…most definitely, InshaAllah! The only thing I don’t like about vacations is the “leaving” part, especially after you get use to being there. You come home all sad and not wanting to do anything, but then you have to cause it’s all a part of life.
It’s raining right now and I’m sitting next to the window watching the rain pour down. I really wanna play outside in the rain, then again, I don’t. I’ll try updating later. I actually have a test on Tuesday, and I SHOULD be studying for it!! Make du’a guys.
