I know…long LONG time. I actually wasn’t home last week. I guess you can call it a mini vacation. I was gone for nine days. Let me get you guys in on what I had been doing. I went to IIE on Thursday and stayed there until Friday. And then on Friday, I went to Yusra’s house to chill with her the whole weekend. It was a lot of fun, Alhumdulillah. We actually tried making a couple of things. On Saturday we made burgers. It turned out good, except we kinda burned the first batch. What can I say…we are learning amateurs. Here’s the picture. It probably doesn’t look so clear because it was taken from the camera’s phone:
And then on Sunday, we made pizza…homemade style! We made four pizzas. The first two were mushrooms and olives. Sorry guys, forgot to take pics of it. The mushroom pizza looked great, MashaAllah…(Yusra made it). I made mine with olives but the olives were chopped chopped, so I had to make them in little clusters and put them on. And then the last two we made were plain cheese…which tasted awesome. Here are those pics:
I’m sure you guys can tell who made which one. There’s like a tint of our personality in it. But if you can’t guess, Yusra made the bigger one, and I made the smaller one. But I forgot to tell you guys one more thing! And that is…that is…we put cheese in the crust! That’s sorta why the crusts looks so big! And you guys…the pizzas turned out yummy…right Yusra?
And now for the desert. We made brownies. I forgot what it was called…but basically it was fudgy brownies with fudge on top:
Yusra ate that a few minutes after it came out of the oven…ouch! I waited a while, cause it actually said to let it cool down…!! All in all, it was good. Though we were full, there was always room for desert. 
And then on Monday morning, I went to my youngest mamu’s house for a few days. And then on Wednesday, I went to my other mamu’s until Friday night. It was fun there too, but a different kinda fun. I missed out on 31 cent scoop day…the line was so huge, so we went back. But I did have my baskin robbins ice cream another day. It definitely worked out for me. Mmm…rainbow sherbert.
That was my nine-day vacation. But when I came home…it was down to the same old…

Zoe! It was a totally awesome weekend. We should definitely do it again. What do ya say buddy ol pal? Except how about this time I’ll watch YOU cook. That’ll be so much more fun.

Aw, my Joya cutie! I’m so happy to know you had such a great time mashaAllah! I am so impressed by you guys! haha, its so yusra to eat it right after it comes out of the oven. hahahaha!!!

It was an awesome weekend, Yusra! And you’re right, we should definitely hang again. But for now, how about when Sabrina comes to town? You know…since we are the three musketeers!
