Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
This past Saturday I went to the Annual Auto Show. That convention has been running for a long, long time now. If you ever wanna bump into people or get lost, that’s the place to go! The good thing about it was at least if you get tired of walking, you can simply sit in one of the cars. That’s what I did. You can’t complain about seats this time. He he.
Some cars looked very nice. I didn’t really look at most of the cars. I just passed by and grabbed the booklets from majority of the companies. I have a lot. Just to name a few, I have Honda, Toyota, Lexus, BMW, etc. Oh and Yusra, I also got Porche. You like Porche, right? BMW came out with the new 2008 BMW M3. I really like it, especially in the white color:
You can click it if you want to see it bigger. In the booklet it looks…even more spectacular. =)
Today, Hamza and Sahar didn’t have school, so they were with me most of the day, and I HAD to cut Hamza’s hair before my bhabi came home. She said it HAD to be done. My family has been telling me to cut Hamza’s hair for the past two weeks or even more, and, well, I’ve been delaying it. Not because I was being lazy but because I wanted it to grow more, you know, long. But uhh…my family doesn’t agree with me, so I just accepted the decision to cut it:
Sigh…I remember when he was born. Soon, he will be embarrassed to have me around him…=(
Recently, my bhabi bought Hamza these new Transformers breifs with glow-in-the-dark prints. He really likes them. I’m sure you guys can imagine him running around the house with his chaddee and banyaan on. lol. I have a picture of it, but I’m not going to put it up. I already know whats gonna happen…when he’s six years old, he’ll be crying telling me why I put his behind on the internet. Ha ha. So I will spare him this moment.
Hamza has a couple years till he turns six, but Sahar…Sahar is turning six this year!! I mean, do you guys remember this baby:
I am NOT gonna put up a current picture of her. Well because…MashaAllah.
Please make du’a for Sahar and Hamza. That Allah makes them righteous, pious, loving, etc. If they become bad when they get older, I know I’ll blame myself for it. InshaAllah, they won’t. Hamza and Sahar, make me proud.
Was Salaam,
Zoya

ameen to sharmeen’s Dua! the pictures are adorable, mashaAllah! i didnt know you had a way with cutting hair - especially toddlers. that’s a huge task in itself. i remember my cousin telling me she shaved her baby’s hair with a razor (4 month old boy…make Dua i see them soon) and i freaked out! she couldnt get to the back so she left a small portion (like a mini pony tail). apparently it was ok bc his hair grew back and no one really paid attention to the back of his head, haha.

hey hey!
I am commenting upon request;). Great post Zoya, great post- very uplifting. I must say you have a way with words. MashAllah cant even recognize your little brother, considering the last time I saw him was about three years back (IIE fundraising dinner), and you just finished telling me a story of how someone thought you were your little brothers mother:D. And thats so cool you cut his hair, if i were to do it, i would just make a mess out of it. Anyhow its late and I got class in the morning unfortunately, so Im heading out!

And Afshan, that’s a funny story. Yeah, it can be frustrating sometimes if they don’t stay still! But I “should” get use to it since I’ve been doing it for a while. lol.
Yay! Thanks Sairah! One thing though, I never told you to be sarcastic!! Ha ha. So I’ll write up that post for you soooon, InshaAllah.
Although I don’t have class tomorrow, I still have to get up to get the kids ready for school. =/
